Howlin’ Youngblood - electric

Coy Vance – electric bass and vox
The Bandit – drums and vox
Imagine if Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and David Allen
Coe all grew up
listening to Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer, bought Les Pauls
and fuzz pedals instead of acoustic guitars, but still held
on to their cowboy hats and good timin’ swagger. The
result would most likely resemble the Spittin’ Cobras.
Hailing
from Minneapolis, all three members have put in more than
their
share of hard livin’ in the name of rock, and came together
in late 2003 for
all the reasons they started playing music in the first place.
The Spittin’
Cobras want nothing more than a couple of cold ones and a
dive bar with a
stage to play on. Throw in some beer drinkers, hellraisers,
and fine
looking ladies sportin’ cowboy hats and shakin’ their
asses, and we can only hope that no one gets hurt. |
